COOLSTAIR builders & designers of the most stunning designer concrete staircases.
In place of board shuttering – we build a permanent steel cage formwork the exact shape of your staircase, which is perfect and strong in every manner.
We install it perfectly in place together with all required structural reinforcing, making the staircase ready for pouring of your concrete.
We suggest your electrician be on site when we install your staircase. Our team then can show your electrician exactly how to put his wiring into the cage formwork (For a stunning illuminated staircase) Nothing better than an illuminated staircase.
After your electrician has installed his wiring into our cage formwork, we then pack in your concrete.
Our men pack your concrete in by hand to insure all levels are 100% and staircase is perfect in every manner.
1 day only: Install and pour is the same day.
2 weeks later you can remove your props and finish off your staircase.
We do up to the concrete pour, please refer to our photos to show you the process and the cage formwork.
The cage formwork remains as part of the structure (like a skeleton) making the strongest perfect designer staircase.
We are able to achieve any design, any size and any shape absolutely.
Many of our clients then finish off with either, Tiling, wood cladding, concrete Plastering, Cemcrete, Granite or Marble.
